I saw this super cool wooden owl online and bought the pattern. I asked my aunt if she thought she might be able to cut the pattern out and I'd paint it. This is what she sent me. It's so awesome I want to cry. The kids are going to love this.
Working weekend, but got a lot done. Met a new neighbor and helped them move a trailer, hall and bathroom are ready for framing and then hay, and took a new way to dinner!
That moment when your best friend since you were four texts you a picture of a KITTY SURPRISE!!!!
Realized that one of the reasons I struggle with keeping my phone on me all the time is because I'll set it down and lose it. So, we're phone landing zone and we'll see how it goes.
What a weekend! A storm came in and the entire county lost power - the little town we stay in didn't have power for 18 hours. We're glad we had a rechargeable fan. Bathroom floor frame is done. We found some unexpected guest when moving things. We also saw a bear! Very productive weekend!
Volunteering this morning! If you are local come sign to recall the mayor, Councilman Thomas (if you're in his district) and sign the petition for the moratorium!
We've been using the same photographer for our family stuff for almost a decade. She takes wonderful lifestyle pics and I'm so glad she's with us to capture special moments
I also appreciated a note to my future self, which did come in handy in a re-read!
BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE. This is supposed to be someone they've had on to speak before. Tan jacket is what he looked like in this interview. Blue Jacket is what he really looks like. Weird isn't it?
He is! He slept most of the way home (in the back) and we have some meds for him and a follow-up this afternoon!
Memory popped up of this painting. Wild to see it as a recycled canvas. It's one of my favorites!
