Another good show put on at the Villa Marina on Sunday. #OMD blitzed through 40 years of hits finishing with the best of the lot (imo) their first from when they started - Electricity. Superb evening.

⚽️ @edhaygarth.bsky.social I thought of you yesterday. The game felt very much like the Q/F. Decent away following in crowd of 400 ish, away tram better all round, but crucially took most of their chances. Wests would have been more than a match for Stoneham.

The penultimate game in the #NWCFL Groundhop weekend @athertonlrfc.bsky.social vs Euxton Villa. 2 good line ups, with LR stronger where it mattered. One goal up the hill first & one down. Winners on the pitch and off it. Great day out.
⚽️ the most one sided Vase game I’ve seen. West Didsbury were stronger, quicker, had more tactical nouse then their opponents Hallen, who stubbornly defended for their lives. And as the game was almost done a fumbled free kick saw Hallen equalise. Then the heartbreak of penalties.
FCIOM postponed so went to West Didsbury v Winsford in the FA Vase. 4-1 home win.

⚽️ Countrywide torrential rain, but somehow Bilston v Droylsden in the FA Vase survived. Away team better all game on a mud bath & won 2-0, but main action were the punch ups post match (players, parents, coaches) shown all over social media 🥊😳🤯
⚽️ Waiting at Lime Street for the rattler over to Manchester to watch FCIOM at West Didsbury. If PNE last night is a fave league ground, Wests is one of the best non league set ups. Good strong team anarl …
⚽️ little trip over to Deepdale last night. Such a historic ground, easily one of my faves. And capped off a find night as the Tigers 🐅 were well worth the victory … could have been more.
A good day all round. FCIOM beat GNE 3-2 away from home, followed by a good night at the O2 Apollo watching The Doves. ⚽️ 🎸 🥁
