A standard FN P90 submachine gun. 5.7x28 is used to *replicate* a rifles penetration capabilities within a certain range. See third image for said range.

A civilian market FN PS90 semi automatic rifle. "Rifle" in huge quotation marks because 5.7x28mm starts to deviate at only 75 yards. It's made to be a legal way for people without a Class III license to have a P90-ish thing to shoot. It's just not the same.

I just picked one of about 6 different trajectories, but you get the idea: it's not meant for long range.
