With my football-themed game built on this, I got a chunk done last night - writing up the "Frames" (PCs' roles within the team) that help guide RP and social ties. Based very much on the types of tropes you see in sports movies, especially with ensemble protagonists. It's beginning to take shape!

There was a brutal satirical skit on (IIRC) Rory Bremner's TV show back in the early 00s, I can't find who performed it (memory says Josephine Tewson?) - of a middle-class woman talking about how she boycotts all the companies she disagrees with. It ends with, "I'll have an empty glass of water."

I'm Xennial. I will die on the hill that charity shops are a better way to discover bands/artists I haven't heard before than any algorithm could be. For that reason alone, CDs & physical media are the best & I will always try to buy it if it's available. And, DRM/licensing is the other big reason.

Don't recognise many of them. But: I've seen both Col. Sanders and the Burger King fight on #WrestlingIsSilly - the Colonel was undisputed world champion for the longest time! So, those two for sure. Green Giant for the size advantage, naturally. Then probably the guy with an actual weapon (spear).

If I don't leave a month or two between writing a passage and editing it, my brain just reads what I intended so editing does nothing! So I prefer to finish a longer work, then go through from the beginning so it's long enough since I read it, I can actually spot mistakes & changes I need to make.
