They've shopped in the same stores, attended the same classes as our children, and lived seemingly normal human existences.

Aliens have been walking among us, living in our neighborhoods, and interacting with us in our daily lives.

Today we pay taxes on money we make, money we spend, money we invest and the homes and real property we own. We also pay taxes on heating our houses, traveling on roads and some foods. That’s just taxes. New laws are written every year that limit other rights protected by the Bill of rights. Should we really be celebrating our independence or should we be reclaiming it?"

Renewing my driver's license and want to speak with the psycho who came up with this list of challenge questions. I have to pick three of these that I'll remember for the next time I log into the DMV?

List of challenge questions that includes What are the last five digits of your favorite rewards card? What is the make and model of your dream car? What is your biggest fear? What is your favorite childhood TV show or movie? etc. All seem like questions that could have an answer that changes from day to day

Our only local pro (ok semi-pro) women's team is quietly having an undefeated season -- and have a slay kit. Flower City 1872 plays their closest competitors (The Pittsburgh Riveters 💪) on Saturday at 3 at the Roc soccer stadium, if you want to watch a meaningful live soccer match! (Men play later)

FACT:

The District is NOT purchasing electric school buses through this budget. Proposition 1 on the ballot May 19 authorizes the District to spend money from two existing “Bus Reserve” funds to purchase DIESEL school buses. The District is not purchasing electric buses through this Proposition. The District and Board of Education continue to push for a hold on the NYS bus electrification mandate.

The latest Yale Climate Opinion Survey is out, once again reporting that people in Monroe County strongly support climate action, even as they know it won't benefit them personally. And they hardly ever hear about it, but would support politicians who advocate climate action.
