Also, here's Eliza Doolittle relaxing by the Theremin and the seven-inch records. Took me forever to figure out she sits in this odd place because I pass by it dozens of times a day and scratch her head every time.
We got Sonya Sotomayor here from the street, intending to take her in for adoption. But it was soon clear she was still too feral, so we just let her stay. She lived in this house near two years before I even touched her. She's better now but still only lets you pet her when she's in certain places.
In 1976 I remember this symbol being just about everywhere. Red, white & blue were pretty much everywhere. You couldn't turn your head outdoors without bunting in your field of vision. In DC, JOHNNY CASH was Grand Marshall of the Bicentennial Parade. QUEEN ELIZABETH II visited aboard...
Dude... was Millard Fillmore really that bad? Leave the poor man alone! 😀
Anybody ever had this? I can't decide if it would be awesome or induce carpetvomiting. If you've had it, what did you think? And could I get the same effect just by stirring some Marmite and peanut butter together?
They're very good at sleeping, and they want you to be good at it too. Here's Lord Baltimore demonstrating just how much.
Upcoming split 7-inch featuring my band Viceroy Kings and Tennessee's Popeless & the Apostates! This summer, on Coffin Curse Records!
John Steinbeck wrote an Arthurian novel basically retelling Malory and some other sources. It was published posthumously as "The Acts Of King Arthur And His Noble Knights."
"Puff, The Magic Dragon." I know it often makes us smile 'cos the imagery reminds of weed. But seriously, I cried at the last verse of that song when I was four years old! Fifty years later still I can't listen to the whole thing. It's just so fucking sad!
Or maybe you got older? It's a common complaint that movies, music, books, etc. don't feel as "true" as they did at some point in the past. "They just don't make 'em like that anymore!" and so forth. But maybe it's just that we got older and became less easily moved by them? Worth considering. 😊
Grippo's Bar-B-Q Cheese -- BEST packaged popcorn ever. I could eat a case! #Grippos
Best kitty I ever had was ol' Black Francis here. Sat with me through divorce, being a single parent for a while, and law school. Twelve years gone, and I still miss this tough little ball of sable fury. 😔
Do yourself a favor after "Animal Farm" (or maybe just skip "Animal Farm"), read "Watership Down." It's got animals too. It's also a far more sophisticated political and social allegory than "Animal Farm" And it's directly relevant to our political climate now.
I really think if Trump's boy Bobby, Jr. had his way, we'd be treating all disease with chicken soup and chanting monks, and the only treatment for bacterial infections would be amputation.
Does anybody get this for a work holiday? At my employer, we have it as "floating." Like, you can take 6/19 or some other day from June to the end of Q3. I'm curious how any other businesses observe it? #Juneteenth
Trump's war propaganda sounds like a recycled USA Insulation commercial.
