I saw Mike Doughty (former lead singer of Soul Coughing) do an all-acoustic set of his early solo work and cover songs from Soul Coughing. Utterly sublime. My soul left my body at some point— I only came back when I realized I was crying at his rendition of “Your Misfortune.” Fucking transcendent.
