Our kitchen was ripped out ready for a new one and it's been A WEEK. I'd forgotten how messy tradesmen are... and how they think it's OK to play music when you are working from home 😐 The beer and this bargain £3 egg from M&S won't touch the sides tonight
These borrowed lights above the bedrooms have bothered me relentlessly since we moved in. They had leaf-patterned opaque glass, god knows what possessed the previous owners. We've finally applied faux stained glass stickers and it's so much better. May even be a permanent fix.

She is so beautiful. I would love to add to my collection, but this one is an only child - i tried to adopt her and her mum, and they had to be separated!
Once you get the hang of growing basil, you end up with butt loads of it. Pesto being made!
Going to see a kitchen designer tomorrow, to hopefully blow this room up and start again. We've done as much as we can to it. I have a very specific list of gripes for her to address 😂

This is Molly, we had her for 12 years. Of indeterminate age when we got her, she was a sweet girl who travelled the length of the UK in a car regularly without complaint. Huge fan of ham slices, but particularly canteloupe melon, mushrooms and cucumber. Very much missed ❤️
After Screwfix did me wrong, twice, third time lucky with the switches of dreams. Although i had to use the old rank screws because the nice new ones didn't fit the back box this plate is supposedly designed for 🤨
How are all these perfect torts not being snapped up immediately? I would have an army of them, but this one beats up all other cats in the immediate area...

It's hard when you lose them, I really get it. I don't think we were really ready for this one, but she was available and no one was taking her so and we took a chance. She's now my little shadow and soul cat. Maybe mull on it a bit.
I bet some of you don't even get excited about light switches, but lads and lasses, I think I've finally found what I've been looking for. Matt black dolly rocker that should fit our 16 mm back boxes and only £7 a pop in screwfix. That's my Sunday sorted.
