Ok, this was absolutely fantastic. I get why the Absolute line has reinvigorated DC Comics. Just when you think they’ve run out of new takes on Batman, this comes along. Just so floored. Onto volume 2!

Finished Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow. This gave me Thor vibes with a fantastical ride through different worlds and wonders. Something I’ve never expected reading a Supegirl book and was welcome. The art was incredible too to match up with that vibe. So many pages I want posters for on my wall.
That was the best SGF ever. Geoff promised a big one and he delivered. Also, my heart….
The possibilities this game will have with all the pantheons together in one place. God of War Laufey just shot up my list as one of my most anticipated to play.

I’ve been trying to be better at reducing phone screen time to accomplish other media goals this year: - getting 2 hours a night into Persona 5 Royal so I can finally beat that game - catching up on my gaming magazines. Last issue of Game Informer done, up next is Nintendo Force!
State of Play was awesome. For a lot of reasons but mostly for this reason:
I have a tradition on the first day of the new year where on stream I set my gaming schedule for my Twitch streams for the year. We just completed it and I'm pretty excited about it! A mix of everything - old-school RPGs, nostalgic shooters, atmospheric platformers, rogue-likes, and ball breakers.
4 games that defined my 2025. P5R is still ongoing (60 hours in) but I feel like it’s enough to qualify as what defined my year.
Man, it’s good to have a week of no stomach bugs or project deadlines. This requires Starbucks and 2 more days of work leftovers before the Christmas holidays begin. Good morning peeps!
