Started The Man Who Was Thursday: A Nightmare by G. K. Chesterton a few nights ago. A fast moving and compelling first few chapters that don't seem to be written almost 120 years ago. #booksky
Just finished Stardust Grail by Yume Kitasei. It was fine. Generally liked the premise and characters but it didn't fully hold my attention. Others seemed to enjoy it more and said it was better than her first novel so hopefully she keeps writing! #booksky
Watched Predator Badlands tonight. Very entertaining and a great follow up to Prey. Love what they're doing with the franchise and hope they make more like this! #filmsky
Great Death Cab for Cutie show last night at the Stifel Theatre in #stl. I've said it before and I'll say it again, their new album - I Built You A Tower - is a banger!
I don’t know who took this photo but it's amazing. Trump is such a sad fucking loser.
I Built You A Tower by Death Cab for Cutie is my latest obsession. It's so good! Stone Over Water is currently leading as my favorite track. #deathcabforcutie #musicsky
About to start Chapter 3 in How the Other Half Eats, by Priya Fielding-Singh. We're reading this for our summer book club at work and will hear from the author in a couple of months. #booksky
Up next, The Art Thief by Michael Finkel. Been waiting to read this one for a while! #booksky
About halfway done with Earthlings by Sayaka Murata. The writing is a little simplistic and stunted. Perhaps it's the translation or that I'm coming from McEwan's What We Can Know, which was the opposite. Liking the theme so far so hopefully it finishes strong. #booksky
After finishing some brain bending non fiction (The Laws of Thought) I'm on to What We Can Know by Ian McEwan. It's my first McEwan book though he's been on my to read list for a long time. I'm 10ish chapters in and so far, so good. #booksky
Finally finished The Laws of Thought by Tim Griffiths. Super inciteful history of language and logic and the models that try to emulate the brain. Yearning to understand better how children learn language with so much less information than computers need. #booksky
Started The Laws of Thought by Tom Griffiths last night after finishing Creation Lake. The start was a bit meatier than I anticipated but should exercise the brain something good. #booksky
After finishing "The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat" by Oliver Sacks I'm on to "Creation Lake' by Rachel Kushner. #booksky
The weather where I am and the weather I'm coming home to. Wild. #stlwx
Finished Carmilla by Sheridan le Fanu and onto Walking Practice by Dolki Min. #booksky
Started Carmilla a few days ago. So far so good. This on the heels of Flatland. Rocking the late 1800s with my book choices lately. #booksky
Just started Beautyland by Marie-Helene Bertino and slammed out the first part in one sitting. Really enjoying it so far. #booksky
Tried to create an account somewhere and got this error. I feel personally attacked.
The inside of Pizza Head is open again! Just had a delicious slice of the vegan pepperoni. #stl
Went to the grandson inertia show at Delmar Hall in St. Louis with my son. What a great fucking show! Hats off to ho99o9 for opening as well. #delmarhall #stl #livemusic #promomissouri
Finally day of Music at the Intersection was a success. Frankly too many good acts playing at the same time! Arooj Aftab here mesmerizing the crowd with her vocals. #mati #stl #livemusic #musicsky
Day two of Music at the Intersection was another success even though it was hot AF! Saw a great mix of acts. #mati #stl #livemusic
Music at the Intersection day one was a success. On to day two soon. Barrington Levy at the Sovereign. #mati #stl #livemusic

They found me. This thing flew below the roof level of the Embassy Suites on the right side of the photo. Yeesh. #stl
I had Google Veo turn a photo of my dog into a video and the dog transposed itself.
