Here's the mindset shift the AB-410 is really testing: not "AI, go build me an app," but "I already have an app, how do I make it smarter?" You take the PL-200 skills you already have and start adding AI Builder prompts and models into them. That's the AI era in one line.

A bit surprised by this one: Microsoft is retiring the Create Agents in Copilot Studio Applied Skill (APL-7008) on June 30, right where they're pushing everyone. It's free until then, and there are still other Copilot Studio credentials worth knowing about.

What a 2 weeks. Three community events, two continents: Thrive in Slovenia (my first, not my last), @collabdaysnl.bsky.social, and my 24th @techcon365.bsky.social in Chicago. SharePoint, AI, and Power Automate talks, plus so many great hallway chats. The community is the best part.

Funny thing about the new AB-620: Microsoft scrapped the AB-610 app maker exam and folded it all into this one, but kept a name that still sounds app-maker friendly. I took the beta, and honestly it should've been called Copilot Studio Developer. That's who it's really for.

My biggest prep tip for the AB-620: before exam day, actually connect a Copilot Studio agent to Azure AI Search, to a Microsoft Foundry agent, and to another agent via agent-to-agent. Associate exams love put-these-in-order questions, and they're rough when the steps aren't fresh.

One thing every Power Platform app maker should know about the new AB-620: despite the app maker tag on Microsoft Learn, it's really a Copilot Studio developer exam. Azure AI Search, Microsoft Foundry, agent-to-agent, all in production. Know what you're getting into.

The Teams channel agent demo at M365 Conf was genuinely impressive. Feedback in a Teams channel triggered a bug in Azure DevOps, assigned to GitHub Copilot, which opened a pull request and tagged the engineering manager. All from a single message. This is AI in the flow of work.
