Hey @jimwhittington.bsky.social , are the MODIS and VIIRS "spots" on the Watch Duty map a good way to see where a fire is hot and where it's cold? I'm looking at the Cottonwood and Babylon fires today, and it looks like Babylon is a lot more active of the two. Thanks again for all your information!

We spent last evening watching “Network”, which saw the destruction of TV news coming 50 years ago. It’s an excellent film. I wish it had remained just a warning and not become nearly documentary.
