I'm just a person playing board games, solo board games, video games, and trying to make friends/stream on youtube. 🎲 I occassionally post content with affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
I 100%'d Unlucky Mummy, a tiny incremental clicker about opening a cursed sarcophagus until you reveal an artifact 12 times in a row... I liked the hook, the price, but balance gets weird in it's upgrades. Full review here. wakasm.com/video-games/... The narrator is cool though and the best part. 🎮
I should track statistically how many times I discover a random (usually minor) rule mistake then try to fix it during a solo play through of a board game. I'm curious how many mistakes I'd realize if I wasn't talking to myself in front of a camera. I assume this happens to everyone (i hope)
I played Dungeon Pages: Underboss against the Hunting Spiders and got the win, but it came with the correct amount of rules mistakes. How many tiny rules before it doesn't count anymore? lol ▶️ youtu.be/3-0cZ47pJyg #soloboardgaming #boardgames
Astro Prospector was such a gem to play. I even went for the speedrun / no death achievement (both on my first try). Watch the full run here if interested, or just to see what the game’s about. ▶️https://youtu.be/Ga0FQ1yl4iY One of my favs of 2025 so far! #bullethell #roguelike #steam 🕹️
Got Sprawlopolis back to the table. Combo 1-4-18. One of my favorite Button Shy games, even though I do get stressed sometimes playing it. I will likely try and get all the opolis' games to the table soon™ Come join me at the table! ▶️ go.wakasm.com/sprawlopolis... #Soloboardgaming #boardgames
On the left, my "Rocky" stuffy I've had for 40+ years, that I now gave to my son that's seen some things (he was left on a heater when I was a kid which is why he has burn marks). On the right, a random thrift store find from the same or similar 1980 run.
I recently covered Power Creep on my channel, which is a $4 solo roll and write print and play that has a campaign... but needed to fill some space... I turned it into a comic book over! If you want to support/watch you can do so here: ▶️https://go.wakasm.com/pcbs1 #boardgames #soloboardgaming
I don't know why, but this is both equally funny and brutal to me at the same time. I guess we all start somewhere! And yet, I'm still super excited and thankful and it has been a great motivation. #patreon #boardgames 🎮
Phantasy Star Online of course. Which lead to this monstrosity... 21 years of tenure.
Digseum is a cute, chill, relatively short incremental museum rave party simulator of sorts, where big dreams come to life. Definitely worth a shot (it's also super cheap!). Here is the first hour or so of gameplay! ► youtu.be/8bFcL6PEgJI 🎮Come help me reach 300 subs on my Youtube journey!
While I've played Fantastic Factories multiplayer before, this is my first solo play. Most of my channel is solo #boardgames + indie videogames. ▶️ youtu.be/IXB7m2VmT_Y I can use any support to reach my goal of 300 subscribers this year... come join me at the table! #soloboardgaming
=Talented= is a a fun little #indie #videogame where you basically get randomized Passive Trees to then survive 20 waves in a #roguelike shoot em' up. Simplistic controls, very fast game loops. I like it so far. 🎮Come help me reach 300 subs on my youtube journey!
Today I play Locator: a Geoguessr-inspired detective #videogame about puzzles, perspective, life on an alien planet. It's pretty crazy how you walk away from the demo feeling like you just explored a whole new world. If you like Maps, Myst, Obra Dinn, Outer Wilds, check it. 🔗 youtu.be/tyj0NyaX8eI
Here is my played boardgame grid for November. A lighter month, definitely filled with games with my 5/yo, but I can't complain. Hopefully this month I can get some heavier games to the table, we'll see! #bgstats #boardgames #soloboardgames
How come there hasn't been a modern remake of the classic spinner in boardgames using... fidget spinner tech? If I'm going to occasionally have to suffer with my kid/niece/nephew through games that use these... make it fun! Or better yet, someone make a cool modern board game with one!
Playing #icecool with the family. My son begged to play this, and he somehow, was able to read enough of the rulebook to put it together, set it up, so I couldn't say no. We will leave this up for a day on a side table to get a few extra games this week in. #boardgames
Boardgame Throwback: When Eldritch Horror first dropped, my friend group (mostly non-boardgame videogame peeps) would all tank our games trying to max Lily Chen's stats. I don't remember exactly when this was accomplished but this was a big moment for our group at the time, we made this.
A throwback to one time I purchased Roborally off the geek market and it shipped like this. Exactly like this. Not inside a box but it was the box. Somehow, the contents were fine and this is still my copy of it today 😂 USPS, if you want a April fool's gag... #boardgames
Not sure if this is what you are going for, but the eggs in wingspan are the only board game component that as a full sized Adult that I have to actively consider not eating. Not my picture, taken from google:
Can lie and way whatever they want if you choose the double agent. Basic goal is to grab a briefcase in the middle and return it to your side. Stratego meets Logic Deduction. You can take pieces out, but it requires figuring out what your pieces are. Comes with this note taking board.
Just want to give a shoutout to an out of print #boardgame someone should reprint. boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/29... At the start of the game, neither player knows how their own pieces move. One piece = double agent. You attempt to deduce your own pieces by moving them, but other player...
It's a cute but light set collection game. It was designed by the same person who did creature comforts, so it has some pedigree behind it. Better than it should be, but light. Kuromi is in it, but only in the one with the exclusive figure inside (why they went with two versions I don't know).
