#wipwednesday Finally came up with something for that Eva/3H crossover fic I've wanted to do. This is in a very rough state, so apologies if anything seems off, with any creative liberties I might have taken

"Not anyone can bring people from one world to another, let alone bend the fabric of time and space. Take it from me," Sothis said, motioning to herself.

"I appreciate you letting Shinji in this world along with Asuka and Rei."

"This was a decision I did not make lightly."

"I believe that Shinji can find true happiness- something I wish I could truly give him- in a world far removed from his own. Asuka and Rei will make this possible."

"Yet you know that this world has no end to strife and suffering. I've also lived through different timelines. None of them were ideal, and what they make of this one will be no different."

"I'm fully aware of this. They'll experience tragedy and triumph, they may live through horrors like they did back in their home world, but I trust Rei, and though Asuka might not have known me, I trust her too. I only hope that they can find their own happiness as well."

Went to Round1 this past weekend. I got the Blade pillow within my first 15 tries. Feeling good, I pulled for MBlade on the spot, got him on my first 10 pulls. I howled like a wolf. Then I got his LC on my first 10 pulls. It was so hype, and it made my Saturday. Also, here's the card and keychain

"By the goddess, what were you thinking?" Sothis was at a loss for words, exasperated at Byleth.

"I need to do something about him," Byleth said as she placed a hand to her chin.

Sothis rolled her eyes.

"You're a professor now. Think for a moment. This is a completely different world.

"He'll make a move on me anyway."

Sothis waved her hands into the air, trying to articulate.

"He is a noble. What if things go wrong? What if your whole plan backfires? Please tell me you are going to take your job seriously."

"I am in fact serious," Byleth said with a deadpan look.

Sothis pursed her lips for a moment.

"I see your mouth moving but you don't fully grasp the words coming out of them. Be glad I can't manifest physically, or I'd find a slipper and toss it at you."

She made a motion like she had one and tossed it at her.

"Ow," Byleth flinched, even though there was nothing that actually hit her.

"How about you put the gun aside, before you do something impulsive? Be honest, you don't have it within you to shoot me."

A second, several seconds that felt longer, a minute, several minutes that felt like an eternity, all passed between them. She wanted to point the gun at him to prove a point, but she couldn't will herself, fear overriding her ability to instead act on instinct and run away. The only willing thing she could do was to slowly crouch down and place the gun onto the floor, never breaking eye contact with him.

"Seems like you know what is good for you. Now slide it toward me. I can't harm you, not while tied to this chair."

The gun stopped near his feet.

"Now stay where you are," he said, as soon as she stood back up and noticed the moment she began to lift her heel off the ground. "I don't trust you."

She gulped and nodded, being uncomfortably close to him, wanting only to take a few steps back. He wasn't going to give her an inch.
