Nothing says 'fun for all the family' like simulated castration This is on exiting the London Aquarium, btw. You know, a place lots of children visit
Good morning, bluesky! What are your minor peeves, irritations, and annoyances today?
Sorry, everyone, but it's a very pleasant 27C in the shade here in Leeds
Local vixen. Mum and Dad leave cat food out for her and the hedgehogs (obvs it gets stolen by the other local cats and foxes, too). Earlier in the spring, she brought her cubs in to the garden to show them off. 'Look. I made these out of the cat food you gave me.'
Does anyone recognise this? Calling @demontomatodave.bsky.social in particular? It is an object of the 1990s, I can tell you that much. Possibly just a kinder egg toy?
Going through an old box of stuff from the attic. Had a driving lesson that day. We were all astonished to be given history homework.
Another exceptional display by the High Wycombe Outdoor Nudist Synchronised Leapfrog Bums

All three of ours have basically been this all week. They do not pay rent.
Look, here's one in the wild - using 'genre' to mean 'elements of specifically scifi or fantasy', rather than a generic term for 'the type of thing something is'. Why? Why cede ground to language which positions 'lit fic' as a normative baseline?
An elaborate shitpost - which took me forty-five minutes when I should have been trying to sleep, and which was a fun exercise in gilding the lily - but a shitpost nonetheless
Thank you so much to everyone who has been very kind and put some pennies in the slot machine. It is a massive, massive help. Here is Today.
