The consequences of contributing to the Democratic Party six years ago continue to haunt me
Second Pigeons show for me, first for 8 and 14, and we’re all dancing hard
When you live in a free state but are arbitrarily subject to the machinations of the authoritarian states
🎶I'm letting go of all my troubles I think I'll be right here to stay Well the water keeps a churning while my poor heart is burning Muddy water take my pain away Meet me at the creek grab a beer and tap your feet See that muddy water flowing down 🎶
I’ll never tire of trying to make the perfect pancake, knowing that such a thing does not exist, but that the journey to the unknowable is what sustains the human spirit. Through pancakes we can learn about ourselves, and the stars of which we’re made.
Cooking pancakes on the farm to the sultry stylings of Billy Strings
Buying a tractor for the farm was by far the best thing I’ve ever done. Love driving that thing.
Fresh cut at a new salon, blue skies, sunroof open, and catching the end of Fixin To Die and then this Ya Mar into Mike’s Song on WEQX. Life is really, really good.
Not your typical Pride parade soundtrack but it was a helluva fun drive to the parade on a beautiful Sunday morning ☀️🌈
Meet Wendell, the yeasted waffle batter. I didn’t take pictures of the waffles, but there’s no leftovers, so there you go. Served with homemade sausage patties that also had rave reviews and no pictures. A proper breakfast to celebrate 23 years of marriage 🩷
So happy with how this print looks with the two tone green matting.
Pancakes are looking good today. I changed up my usual technique and whipped the egg whites and stiffened them with corn starch.
I find it very satisfying to clean iron and steel pans to a perfect shine
I kinda like that Buckethead’s lighting is constant and low, it makes capturing him in the act a matter of good timing and feeling his vibe for when he’s not moving around the stage and the highlights are just right. Sometimes a haunting, sometimes an angel.
Cook with tools that have many purposes. My baking steel is also a great griddle on the grill. Cooked 8 smash burgers and onions for the family after a rewarding day of yard work.
The vibe as dad and I chilled and discussed and laughed and played with his dog for hours at his house while I filled the air with the sounds of Billy Strings, Peter Rowan, Tony Rice, and so many others. A top shelf evening with dad.
