Reversing her previous decision, Karina Schönmaier will now compete in the Bundesliga competition on Saturday.
Helen Kevric has injured her patellar ligament. She will undergo further examination in Stuttgart. That means she will not compete in other Euros events.
Valentina Georgieva was voted European Gymnastics Female Gymnast of the Year.
It is a bit funny that the FIG has a scheduled event called "Transfer of Power" for the 28.02. (the day after the next Executive Committee meeting), in Lausanne.
Meolie Jauch announced her retirement due to mental struggles with elite sports. That‘s a retirement I didn’t see coming and am quite sad about, but I wish her all the best. I hope she continues as a commentator - I really liked the commentary she did for one of the Bundesliga meets.
The WCC just announced Patrick Kiens and Daymon Jones (currently/previously coaching part of the Romanian team, incl. Ana Bărbosu) as new coaches.
