Also, some concept art trying to pin down Matilda's initial design and personality. At this point, I'd concluded that Matilda wasn't villainous but certainly didn't have a firm grasp on the consequences of her actions - a mad scientist to the core, if one driven more by mischief than anything else.

Early concept art for Matilda the Bilby. Comparing her current designs to her earlier iteration, she has goggles now and overall instead of a blouse and slacks. The goal here was to lean into a design that implied scientist or engineer. A friend later suggested reintroducing her lab coat and making the goggles larger.

The more updated design of Matilda, posing dramatically and speaking in an effort nail her personality.

Matilda: "Ethics? Control group? Sherwin, you're entirely too worried about the little things when there's science to do! Now, strap that harness on, and ignore any electrical tingling sensations you may feel in your nethers! Those are normal. Probably."

Before Kelly's game released for the PlaySystem 2, the same devs played around with an old boomer shooter title. Weirdly, the main character of that game went on to be vendor character in their next title... #furry #furryart #fakevideogames

I guess it's #portfolioday ? This always sneaks up on me. I'm Weary, and I'm a #furry artist who draws a violent kangaroo, a swashbuckling kobold thief, and a webcomic about the most haunted town in Oregon.

It took Widget another half hour to realize he was no longer kobold height and didn't have a long tail anymore.

Two rabbits - well, hares if we're being technical - stand in front of an abstract background. One, a yellow rabbit with large eyebrows, examines his hand confused; this would be Widget the Previously-a-Kobold who hasn't realized what's happened yet. To his right is a brown hare in athleticware having a nervous freakout. This is Sherwin Lane, who is pretty much always bnuuy-mode.
