I'm not the OP, but this what I was responding to. It spells it out pretty clearly, I think. We're not allowed to be upset with the unsustainable systems we're forced into because the greedy people who set it up have made it so they can spread blame around to everyone in the system.
I wish I could say I can't believe RFK Jr. slept with this guy, but unfortunately, I can.
This is the exact reason why AI pushers are terrible people. They flat out refuse to recognize the humanity of humanity. They are the type of people who unironically see others as NPCs. Ignore their finger-pointing because THAT is the attitude that brings about bigotry.
My library hold finally came in, and I'm finally finally reading Camp Damascus by the great @chucktingle.bsky.social. Been looking forward to this for a while now.

I did not bring it to the conversation. I just used it as a clear example of how conservatives push compromise on things that shouldn't be compromised on.
Tried out my #zungeon with my son. Despite the loss of 75% of the party I think the deadliness is at the right level. He just rolled poorly and wasn't cautious about literally anything. Shadowdark isn't a system that forgives throwing caution to the wind.
In the hivemind's opinion, what D&D-adjacent TTRPG classes would you assign the TMNT? (Aside from Monk, because that's boringly obvious.)
Years ago, I was in a toy aisle checking out the superhero figures and a little kid came over grabbed a random figure, yelled "WOW! GUY GARDNER!" as if he was reading the name for the first time ever, and ran to his mom with it. I hope that kid is excited about this teaser.
I'm planning on playing the Shadowdark RPG with my 6 year old, and decided that the standard character sheet isn't super helpful for those who aren't reading yet (among others). Here's my prototype of a color/picture coded character sheet for Shadowdark.
Have you heard of/tried the Marvel Universe RPG (MURPG) from 2003. It had an interesting diceless system that helped (IMO) balance different character power levels and allowed for a wide variety of gameplay on the same mechanics. It might be hard to find though.
