All I can think about are the times I didn't do right by him, the times I let other people not do right by him. Fucks sake I couldn't even get my parents to replace his fucking scratching board. They kept him in this house with barely anything to do and no other cats to socialize with for six years after chloe died and I could barely do a fucking thing about it
