My employer communicated this to staff today. I think this is legally shaky.
There's no way that Parliament intended for trans women with a GRC to be treated as men under the EA when it was initially drafted. The SC judgement and the EHRC code of practice is a complete stitch-up, and the Labour government are cowards for allowing it to happen.
It seems that ignoring 50% of submissions, on a public consultation, could be grounds for a judicial review.
I was emailed today by my MP and she attached the letter that she’s sent to Bridget Phillipson.

I've had a response from my MP today. They're willing to meet.
Some useful information here. Despite the lies being spread about what the ruling means, nothing has actually changed. It's not illegal for trans people to use the toilet that matches their gender. If any service provider trys to stop you, take them to court.

This is why it’s important that you need to write to your MPs & put pressure on them to protect our rights. We can’t have them taking the easy option of sweeping this under the carpet. If the below is true, it sounds like there are a few of them that are still on our side.
I went on a volunteer day at an animal rescue centre today. These little pups melted my heart ❤️ I didn't want to leave them 🥺
