Tried to buy this meat special today & meat department said they didn't have it. Manager was called, he supposedly checked the website & didn't find the special. 😠 I came home & here's a screenshot of the special from the website. Morrocroft Harris Teeter is usually great. I'll try at Park Road.

We got at least 9 inches of snow yesterday. Today the sun is shining, icicles are hanging from the eaves, & snow is blowing off the shed and the roof. I’m thankful that our power stayed on.

Daken brought his dog toy into my bedroom & while I was reading, he tore it apart on my bed. 🙄Now he’s snoozing and I need to clean up the mess.
I was leaving the grocery store this evening & I saw a quarter on the sidewalk. i picked it and didn't look at it till later. It's a Juliet Gordon Lowe 2025 quarter. Juliet G. Lowe founded the Girl Scouts, and I was a Girl Scout for 11 years. I'm going to keep this quarter. It's pristine, too.
We got the DNA test back on Daken. He's mostly American Staffordshire Terrier with a few other breeds mixed in. The American version of a Staffy is bigger than the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Daken is almost 70 lbs, so he should be fully grown now.
Go for comfy. On my fat days, I have button extenders for my pants/jeans. They're great little gadgets. I got them from Amazon. Mine look like this:

My son got Daken a donut to replace the Cone of Shame. He’s happy with it. I gave him a stuffed toy & he happily tore it up. It’s under the 🦴.
I had to retrieve the toy, because Daken tossed it up and it landed where he couldn’t get to it with the giant cone. Poor baby
Apparently saying rabbit on the first day of the month is a superstition for good luck somewhere. So here’s a picture of the rabbit who used to live under the shed until we got the dog.
He’s been a good boy tonight, so I pulled out the Xmas puppy from Pet Smart that I got during an after Xmas sale. He will make a big mess as he destroys it & pulls out all the stuffing.
