#GardensHour A small sample from the soggy space that's my back garden
The annual Myosotis round up. As usual, I missed a few but I can see the main show now 🌱
The sun barely scrapes the bottom of my garden at this stage of the new year. Bit nippy down there this morning. 🌱
Starting to feel a bit Christmassy now that it's time to get some prep done. A door wreath of garden goodies is pretty much all the decoration we do now. Latest incarnation just hung up, in lee of forecast wind. 🌱🌬️🤞
This year, consider wearing a white poppy for Armistice day. Signifying remembrance of all those who fall in war, both military and civilian. It seems particularly appropriate this year. 🤍🕊️ www.ppu.org.uk
Beautiful, misty morning here in, OK, foggy morning here in Sussex. You can see the cobwebs before you walk into them. I love mornings like this. 🌱
My usual, basic sourdough needs a boost. I thought a dark beer addition might work and a taste test with these would be fun. Other half agrees 😊 Stout decision he says 🙄 🍞🍻
🌱 most ornamentals in my garden have eventually done okay this summer, and have stood up to the recent downpours well. The Nicotiana mutabilis, however, is still very reluctant to bloom. It may have missed it's chance.
🌱 I feel your pain. Mine were shite too. I've been left with one, slug grazed, puny individual that should have been sacrificed to the compost gods weeks ago. I swear it's the last time...
👋 He's splendid Ginny. I'll make a note of him. My current fav is Totally Tangerine, an open variety which I grow for better access for insects.🌱🐝
