Since May 1, the Dodgers and Giants are tied for best team offense in MLB, as ranked by FanGraphs wRC+. The Giants have hit 3 more HR than LA in that time (not counting today's game). Imagine if the Giants had league-average pitching.

Too many of you think I'm being hyperbolic about how bad Devers has been this season. Okay, you're right. Adames has been worse, as measured by FanGraphs offensive WAR. Both Adames and Devers are among the 10 worst offensive players in the MLB this season.

First Sharks game this season. Yes, there’s a lot of young talent. Watching Celebrini & Smith is a delight. But they generate more than 50% of the offensive opportunities, which is exhausting. To compete at high level, team needs more goal scorers & better goaltending.
And don’t forget about this view of the Presidio, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Marin Headlands. A balm for the soul.
