I saw some interesting butterflies on my 41° evening dog walk today.

Great Peacock Moth, 12 cm wingspan, landed on the chicken run a couple of weeks ago. Apparently the largest European moth.
This monster moth, wingspan approx 10cm, visited our chicken pen and hung out for a while. Apparently a Great Peacock Moth, the largest moth in Europe.
Our broody bantam has just hatched two foster chicks. The happy family...
