For the most part, I LOVED Aang: The Last Airbender. My one complaint is that the entire cast got rhinoplasties. Like, WHAT HAPPENED to Katara’s nose?
Like everyone else, I’m also pretty tired of live action remakes, but my TikTok FYP dropped me off at “filming for live action Tangled” and I’m honestly kinda obsessed. They’re filming in the same town in Spain where they shot the king’s Landing portions of Game of Thrones.

Don’t you just love it when filmmakers consistently disrespect VFX/cgi artists by claiming “they didn’t use CGI” only for it to be revealed that they did in fact use CGI? Because the cyclops puppet they used is looking a little different in the final product.
Why are they using AI slop now? The chipmunks looked BETTER when they were CG animated

If K-pop demon hunters came out during the golden age of 3D animated films (2006-2015) you bet your ass it would’ve gotten a tie-in Wii game because they ALL got one.
You know we’re about to enter a new era of fashion when the cartoon characters start to look like the current generation of young people. I saw this happen before when Disney characters started wearing beanies and chunky glasses back in 2015.
Remember that episode of Rugrats All Grown up where Angelica realizes her mom gave away her Cynthia doll from the original show and searched the entire town just to find her again? Yeah, Emily from Toy Story 2 could NEVER.
One of the main reasons I’m skeptical of a live action Tangled is that there’s NO way they can pull off her hair in live action without having to resort to CGI. Her hair is one continuous line without break, and I doubt they make her hair look this good in the live action.

To this day I still have no idea why they made Spyro look like that for the Skylanders games. My only theory is that media for young boys in the early 2010s was mostly “gross, boogers, ugly, creepy” and they probably thought the original design was too cute and remade him to fit what boys liked.
So when I was a kid, I had Percy Jackson, Bone, Gregor the Overlander, the I Survived series, Edward Tulane, Captain Underpants, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Animorphs, etc. is this REALLY what Gen Alpha likes to read?
