Spare a crumb of precedented times please? 📍Chicago
Everyone doing the “Netflix documentary” trend is entirely missing the point of what made it funny in the first place.
Anyone in Chicago this week: “It’s so hot today!” My millennial ass brain: “Says tomorrow’s gonna be hotter. Hotter? Like yesterday. Yesterday? Yesterday you said you’d call Sears. I’ll call today. You’ll call now. I’ll call now..”
How I feel every time I order coffee downtown for work instead of around the corner.
Had a dream that was a mix between Backrooms and PT (real ones know.) My subconscious right now:
Lapras — the cool elder lesbian who winks at the closeted baby gay, pulls them aside at the family cookout to say, “it’s okay shug. Your secret is safe with me.”
My gym has stopped playing overhead music apparently. Despite always listening to my own, things have felt very 𝘰𝘧𝘧 without it.
Finally watched Emerald Fennell’s “Wuthering Heights.” — Loved Promising Young Woman. Liked Saltburn. But her latest film just wasn’t for me. I’ll stick with this version of the classic.
Had an interview where they had to video call from their phone at the last minute, but turned it sideways…so I spent the entire time talking to a faceless person. Luckily 90s cartoons prepared me for this.
I can think of another group of people who were required to wear the same shoes as their dear leader. Didn't end too well for them.
To mark the 49th anniversary of one of the best albums to grace our culture, I saw Fleetwood Mac: The Broadway Play last night
