@samderboo.com spotted another one, Kaettekita Cyborg Kurochan on PS1 from 2002
Okay the purest chippy, the hole in one, wild to get it in an actual round
I think the Amstrad version is pretty ugly and the screen transitions are painfully slow, but does happen to win with title screen and box art
And yet again, I accidentally found you can zip. Just jump and kick at the same time, and if you are under a ceiling you can clip in and zip left, right or up. @rayquaza911.bsky.social found you can just skip the entire last stage, zip to the top and zip to the Goal, what a game
Had to make a map to come up with a route, even tho the game is small, always helps visualize. Mainly wanted to avoid the trek back up from the bottom, so saved that for last to just end there.
I did one of these the other week for Crit talking about airwalking in Rygar. I could probably make a more official one, cause I never really showed off the way I do it before.
Softlock I found, you're supposed to go into the foot and it transitions to the next phase. But if you change the ball form it just gets stuck and never transitions. You can reload the checkpoint and the ball automatically heads there and warps you into the transition. Funny bug to miss in testing.
@quest64official.bsky.social idk why I was hit with inspiration, but here you go
This was a dumb bug I found. If you have invincibility here and an enemy is on top of you when you break this orb, they can just insta kill you for some reason. Really annoying, so made sure to clear any out before breaking it in runs.
Probably my favorite strat, I did it on accident and realized it was slightly faster, and it's easy to do, the duck strat. 🦆
Really not the kind of game I normally run, but I saw it in a vid of random Amiga games and thought it looked cool. Turned out to be a pretty neat run. I found this map when I was trying to start routing and boy did it not help, haha. There is an excellent Gamefaq with maps that super helped tho.
