Jupiter has been showing off all summer long. SkyView Lite, the free version is excellent. Because it uses satellites rather than direct line of sight, I was able to show you the real time position as of the date of this post from inside my house.
After this haunting and horrifying day the site of the crescent moon with Jupiter (Venus is hiding behind the moon) was especially beautiful.
