Imagine being nostalgic for a time when you credulously and uncritically accepted every single thing written in the NYT as the truth. Given how much this defense of Weiss centers around profits I can't say I'm surprised that Weiss's journalistic integrity goes entirely unexamined.
This paragraph of the essay in particular seems like an important critique, now more than ever.
