Managed to get a little art done during cfz! Hoped for more but honestly something is better than nothing! Been a while^^

I also potted up my sunflowers so hopefully now that these are outside they will do well! Thought my yellow biquinho peppers had completely fried... but again, after a good soaking last night I've woken up to this! Yesterday all were like the one in the front... but nearly all recovered 🧡💚

I also pulled some "weeds" from my raised grow box where I put spent soil... turns out one was in fact not a weed but a potato! Must have been one left in the soil when I emptied the buckets in winter XD I gave him a pot and fresh compost to see if he'll carry on going XD

After returning home from CFz I had a 4hr nap (pretty sure it's just sleeping at that point XD ) and then got out into the garden! 1st photo is my persicaria last night after not enough water during heatwave 2nd photo is this morning after soaking last night! Amazing what a little TLC will do!

Had such a lovely trip away with my wuff @vorkvitae.bsky.social and one of my best buddies Kas this week! Hiking, chilling and a whole kaleidoscope of weather! It was wild... a few bumps and bruises along the way though... not least of which vorks poor car... and my old lady knees XD

Just finished making this little guy! I wanted a fancy pin cushion instead of using the box... was looking for a nice turtle pattern initially then saw this lovely spider patter by Skein Spider on youtube! Modified the booty a bit to make him more round but this was a lovely pattern to follow^^
