I think this matters a lot more than anything else: Choosing El-Sayd in the primary is the equivalent of choosing a Republican Senator. Please MI voters don't do that to us.

Change in the US happens through voting. The purpose of all other actions is to change voter and election results.

Running against Trump and the Rethugs is a good thing because BRANDING MATTERS. Most voters have only the dimmest vague understanding of anything and vote on branding--so seize the moment to negatively brand the Rethugs and positively brand Dems.

We need to get the undecideds on our side. They will swing to the right if the protesters are seen as violent. Reason has nothing to do with this. If the undecideds were reasonable they'd be decided. They are uniformed and influenced by visual images.

We need to get the people who haven't made their minds up on our side and that can only happen if they see images of ICE being bad, and images of protesters looking like the good guys.
