Remember everything he and Rs are doing to make the environment as FILTHY as it could POSSIBLY be while also increasing the likelihood of wildfires and their resulting smoke that affects people all over the continent when you are filling out your ballot in November. www.nytimes.com/article/heat...
It's almost as if having people ignorant of and hostile to science in charge of public health might be a BAD thing! Almost! www.forbes.com/sites/antoni...
Science is going to have its way with you regardless of whether you "believe" in it:
Heard Buster Olney advocating for the #Yankees yesterday to acquire Luis Arraez, noting how much he has improved defensively to go with his excellent ability to hit singles and get on base; he has struck out only 15 times ALL YEAR. Chisholm would become utility player if not dealt. I like the idea.
Aside from his last outing, against the Tigers, which was pretty good, Warren's been terrible since his first start in June. And there is no one coming for his spot in the #Yankees' rotation unless you think Clarke Schmidt, rehabbing from surgery, would be that much of an improvement.
@nypostsports.bsky.social, this is just brutal in any headline but especially in the headline on the lead story in the MLB section.
Even a depleted #Yankees offense (sans Judge and Stanton) has to be better than 1 run across 4.1 innings against a mediocrity like Zebby Matthews #sorrynotsorry
Really pathetic, but we should expect nothing less from the people in charge.
I didn't realize the White Sox' home-road splits were so starkly in favor of the Second City:
Weathers has been not just bad but turrible since May 30: #Yankees
Tell the OMB you don't want political hacks deciding which projects get scientific research funding: www.nytimes.com/2026/06/09/o...
That's Bellinger's first road home run of the season. His home/road splits are really starkly in favor of Yankee Stadium. Imagine if he were even mediocre at the plate on the road. #Yankees
It's very difficult to conclude anything other than that we are so very thoroughly fucked if another pandemic happens before these "medical professionals" leave office:
Reporter asks Boone what he makes of the fact that the #Yankees are now 1-8 against "good teams" (ie, above .500), and he says, "Not much. We're really good." OK, Aaron, but this is the type of willful dismissal of reality that infuriates the fan base.
Rs will be damned if they'll let VOTERS decide how they want to live. Who the hell do those peons think they are, anyway?
Did you see Boone's comments about Weathers' latest horrid outing? They were exactly what we expected! They just optioned Angel Chivilli to the minors yesterday with a 12.91 ERA, but Weathers's is 11.68, and he's the fifth starter for some reason. Unreal.
@ken-rosenthal.bsky.social, "Suter" is ID'd by surname only in your piece on Clark's resignation:
