A rusted frame becomes a cradle. A simple clay pot becomes a home for something reaching toward the light And suddenly, what looked worn looks wonderfully alive Perhaps that's how grace works— not by replacing what time has weathered, but by growing something beautiful within its embrace #poetry
Yesterday, I had my very first book signing at Park Road Books. I met readers, signed books, & shared conversations I'll carry with me for a long time. One little girl asked what my book was about. "Life," I told her. She smiled and said, "Oh, I like life." My heart is full. 💜📚🌿
Grief doesn’t always arrive like a storm. Sometimes it settles quietly into the ordinary parts of life— the bed, the kitchen, the silence after laughter fades. #poetry
the storm came fast no time to prepare the fog settling in quickly shadows moved around us an ambiguous sky crept over the town the winds punishing everything in their path and in the quiet after the earth began to breathe branches bowed but unbroken beneath a gentler sky #BornBattleReady
“Spilled in Ink and Grace” A poem about quiet healing, survival, and the ways writing can become a place to lay our burdens down. Some wounds do not ask to be erased. They simply soften with time, tenderness, and grace. #poetry

she is weathered— brittle at the edges, even ugly to some but to me she is beautiful her withered petals hold the hush of old summers, hard winds, and golden evenings and still she remains like a quiet testimony that some beauty is found in what survives #poetry #naturephoto #writing
A morning walk at Stallings Greenway 🌿 Quiet sunlight through the trees, still water reflecting the sky, & delicate blooms tucked into the corners of the world. Moments like these remind me to pause, breathe, & notice the small wonders around us — the way faith & nature quietly guide & sustain us.
In All Her Glory The morning sun rose in all her golden glory, as if she carried a secret woven in light— only I could hold. I laced my shoes and stepped onto the greenway, where jade and pine whispered in the hush of damp earth, and birds dipped and sang through the shivering leaves.
