A messy little sketch page of my WoL Fyfnar hanging out with Aerith. They look like they’re up to mischief; in one scene they’re dancing the Manderville together in matching outfits. Fyfnar has Aerith’s characteristic flower in his hair, and she has a sprig of lavender in her hair, perhaps a gift from Fyf.

i also get inspired to write poetry at art parties sometimes, here are a few of my pieces! and finally, a piece i drew at the art party i hosted last year, where i tried to capture nearly everyone. it was a wonderful party and i’m so grateful for everyone’s kindness and their lovely art gifts!

Between the rim of noon and night
They say the sea is full of light,
And light as liquid as the air.
They say the moon is sleeping there

Where seashells softly cry and croon.
Beneath the moon, the golden moon,
Are corals paler than the sky,
And bubbles bluely brimming by.

And weightier than waters' swish
A virtuous and verdant fish.
Down there the dim is unalloyed;
The undulating night is Goid.

And endlessly they preen and sigh and sway.

The sound of laughter glimmers on the air.
Blue skies, and bluer still a starbird's plume:

art parties have been so special to me! as a beginner artist so much of my learning, practice and experimentation has taken place at art parties. i’ve made friends and people have been so kind and encouraging about my art! i love being inspired by party themes to try capturing new styles and moods!
