Very close to the finale, it started raining. No one moved except to shield the electronics. I snapped a phone picture for my memory, and whispered that I was absolutely going to lose it when Tim Curry left us. And I did.

Did I finish #knitting the magical Ithaca trip yarn hat before snow? No. But does it fit? On the fourth try, yes.

Work in Progress: extra cicada parade-a fellow picked up last year. Approximately 1 in 200,000 17-year cicadas have blue-grey eyes. I found one in the old yard, gonna paint up a friend in its honor. The original project in Baltimore: www.cicada2021.com

American Visionary Art Museum Kinetic Sculpture Race from Patterson Park. Pure and bright #Baltimore weirdness. #AVAM.

Amphibious human powered vehicle titled play2pus, made of a metal frame connecting bicycles over a red pontoon base, topped by a giant stuffed platypus. The front of the vehicle is decorated as an air horn with "platypus" written backwards like an ambulance. A price is right wheel sits on the back of the vehicle, listing highland games to try. The riders are costumed in kilts and Scottish hats, as is the platypus.
