Ruffles the feathers of most things Winnipeg related
It’s amazing how good Byfuglien was mostly through his skill more than his overall fitness, lol
Gotta love media conglomerate consolidations leading into immediate rug pulls with no notice
“Barnacles, what could be worse than a giant bad contract on your defence?” “Oh, I know!” *trades for Nurse*
Dreger is so hilariously the propaganda of the Jets and no other insider has any clue of what WPG is asking other than what other agents/teams are leaking to them
For media availability, attendees will be escorted by the DCSP into the husk of Portage Place and corralled into the “free press zone”
Friedman’s predictions (some of these may be based on rumours, some based on whatever other sources are telling him “makes sense” but aren’t actually coming from the team itself)
Late night Hellebuyck talk that confirms Jets aren’t just ‘listening’ to offers, but are actively trying to move him because of a trade request - “I think the Jets realized it’s time”
Me trying to connect the 31 other teams making trades to the eventual Hellebuyck trade
“Whenever Oliveira doesn’t have the ball, all the other Bombers should be asking, ‘why doesn’t Oliveira have the ball?’”
Canadian Conservatives and American Republicans on a Venn diagram is becoming an overlapping circle
In today’s letters to the editors, one concerned citizen correctly outlines all of problematic issues that an unregulated digital space has gotten us so far - and somehow still concludes that the proposed social media ban will protect the children instead of regulating the tech broligarchs.
It should be career ending that a Grade 11 student correctly and succinctly embarrasses government officials and their flawed “just saying stuff” policy-making
Here’s a bit of levity - I love when arenas use old video game sound effects for when the penalty expires and the home player exits the box. Buffalo’s is the “Get Item” from the original Pokémon. If the Jets did something similar, I think they should use Star Fox 64’s item pickup sound:
One would think the headline and byline would highlight the blistering rebuke by the WFP’s interviewee about a social media ban not being effective in the first place, as opposed to quoting the NDP’s continued practice of “just saying shit”:
At least with this group of advocaters, they are appropriately targeting that the problem are the chatbots and platforms, not the fact that children are on them. But still being willing to accept bans as a quick and easy compromise is a façade.
