The best part is that A Coruña is in the Galicia region and so it has been a cool breeze and 20 plus degrees cooler than where we live in Valencia. We took this trip to escape the heat and it has not disappointed at all😊
I wish I could adequately express my joy at being in a beautiful place in mid summer with 70 degree Fahrenheit weather…in Spain. It is pure joy to my soul. #ACoruña ❤️
A Coruña, Spain is about 20 degrees cooler than my beautiful Valencia. That’s why we will be here for a bit 😂🫶
I’m gonna say that moving to Valencia, Spain and then watching the Spanish National Soccer Team win the World Cup on a goal by a man raised in Valencia— is fucking fantastic!! The city is still cheering and shooting fireworks! 🎇 🇪🇸 #WorldCup
Today was a good day. Met with my Spanish language tutor, had my first horchata and then watched Spain defeat Portugal in fútbol. 🫶
I know this beer is for the cold months in Belgium and it’s very hot weather here currently, but I wanted to try it and I don’t regret it 🍺 🙃 Very nice, dark, smooth trappistes beer with 9% Alc.
When we booked this trip to Belgium for my wife’s birthday week, we thought it would be a good way to get away from the summer heat in Spain. European heat wave has other ideas though. 🤷🏼♀️🥵 Not sure how to navigate walking around sightseeing every day in those temps but the hotel has a nice pool…
When your Spanish lesson didn’t go so well and you are highly frustrated… having a beautiful wife with a margarita in her hand when you get home is very comforting. 🫶
Went to our first Flamenco 💃🏻 and Spanish guitar show tonight. It was every bit as amazing as I thought it would be. Funny how music with no lyrics and dance can still tell stories so well! What a lovely evening with friends🫶 #Valencia #Spain #LaRambleta
I really appreciate my wife. I walked to my Spanish lesson and back.. had a good lesson but I was hot 🥵 by the time I made it home. My honey had tacos made and a cold beer ready for me when I got home🫶😋 Then afterwards she made me a vermouth rojo which is hitting the spot! 16 good years together❤️
Dinner with friends at Barbaros Smokehouse in Valencia last night was very good. Everyone enjoyed their meals & I thought the pulled pork & beans were delicious.😋 They didn’t have mac n cheese available so I was bummed not to taste it, but brisket and ribs & sauces were very good as was the service.
