Pocket Fire near our family cabin in Oak Creek Canyon N of Sedona. We got lucky. The wind changed Saturday blowing away from us, but then grew 4 times the size & headed closer to Flagstaff. They’ve done perimeter work to fight it when winds calmed. I have immense gratitude for our firefighters.

Besties since high school in the 1970s showing up in Scottsdale, AZ, with 4,000-5,000 other sane people in a Republican stronghold (but not for long).
An hour before the March started, so many people showed up in Scottsdale, AZ. The crowd eventually numbered about 4,000 in an area that has been a Republican stronghold. Not for long. It was high energy but many I spoke with are worried about whether we will have free and fair midterms in November.
Wonderful! Our “Daisy Dog” had the same coloring, we miss her so much. We rescued her and loved her for 7 years until cancer took her.

The story is simple. Pretti, an ICU nurse, was recording video with his phone. He did not have his gun out. After ICE pushed a women to the ground, he attempted to help her. He was then pushed to the ground and multiple officer attacked him. He was shot 9 times. It was murder.
