Okay so here’s the initial tracing onto one sleeve, with additional lines and dots … idk … it feels a little flowery to me (I rarely wear clothes with a floral design) … maybe I need to scale it bigger?

Thank you for these ideas! This is the sleeve embroidery of the original shirt, I think that adding some lines to the inner part of the lotus could really work. I was thinking half lotus on each sleeve and then along the inseam, so that when they are together they are seven.

Ami I have a concert fit dilemma. I want to embroider on this blue set like my favorite Namjoon outfit of all time. BUT I’d been thinking I’d embroider the 7 petal lotus on it instead of the design. MY Q IS: will it still read as the namjoon fit or no? Does it matter?

‘I don’t - it’s not - it won’t work, between us,’ Seokjin said. ‘There’s too much - I can’t - ’ He was walking so fast he was almost jogging. Yoongi barely managed to keep up with him. They were almost at the lockers at the end of the pier.

‘I don’t believe you,’ Yoongi said.

‘It doesn’t matter what you believe,’ Seokjin retorted.

‘Why won’t you give us a chance?’ Yoongi asked. ‘Why don’t you let me try?’

‘Humans are notoriously fickle and unreliable,’ Seokjin said robotically, and Yoongi almost screeched in frustration.

‘This human is not. I am not. You know that. Give me the opportunity to prove I am not.’

Seokjin had reached his locker. He pulled out his robe and angrily started taking off his clothes.

‘My pod migrates twice a year,’ Seokjin said. ‘I’m not always around for all the important human things, birthdays and babies and when you go into the tiny room and sing badly with a microphone. I miss them because I’m not around.’ He jammed his clothes in the locker and banged it closed.

‘So what? Humans can move around, too, there’s no need for me to live in one place the whole time.’

Seokjin sighed, and turned to face Yoongi, his robe belted in front. His eyes were bright with unshed tears.

‘Important stuff in my life will happen underwater that you’ll miss.’ His chin wobbled.
