The Conservatory's Options screen. The setting labeled "Allow PCSS" is selected, with its description showing to the right: "Percentage Closer Soft Shadows (PCSS) is an advanced lighting technique used to simulate realistic light sources, especially when an object emitting light is larger than an object which is casting a shadow. Not all lights are affected by this option, but note that it may make shadows appear fuzzy or grainy. Use this at your own preference."

Below this description is a note which indicates that the performance impact of this option is "Very High" on the GPU.
