With the soon release of Jade Shadows: Constellations, I want to say farewell to, not a good mechanic, but nonetheless funny: the Knockdown Grounded state. How many times I have gotten overzealous in my movement, only to be sent straight to the ground, face first. I will miss you. (Kinda lol.)

Atlas has been knocked down. He is laying face down on a Corpus locker room. He lays there, holding his Corinth Prime in his right hand.

His hubris has succeeded him, as the once Immovable Titan has been proven to be quite movable in his most vulnerable of moments. The very ground that he had once claimed his safe haven, now serves as his resting ground of humiliation instead.

All for the simple act of jumping at the wrong time. But perhaps, this lesson will be a better one for the future. With the loss of this grounded state, Atlas may reflect on the times where he had to restrict himself from such risky movement to avoid being shunned by art of aerial denial.
No longer he will have to feel the weight of the sky looming over him, taunting him for daring to engage in its own natural state.

Perhaps, in these rare moments of the past, a new freedom has been erected in the honor of all of these failures. Not to defy the idea of being vulnerable, but rather to siege control of when weakness is shown.

Because no matter what, as any Tenno, Atlas will continue fighting.

My main personal build revolves around +400% Strength, and Max Impact + Melee Exposure Landslide. Could be further optimized by swapping out the Azure for another Violet, depends on what you want (I use it just for Rubble consistency + sustainability); is somewhat flexible aside from the Umbral set.

// I wanted to make this art for myself really. I have been suffering for a long time, and as silly as it seems, Atlas seemed like the character to reflect that through. Maybe I’m interpreting or assuming too much stuff, but a lot of Atlas’ design seems tied towards physical trauma and pain, especially his helmets. His Prime one particularly has what appears to be stitches on the top and front. And that just reminds me of my own physical trauma, and that’s why I’ve felt so personally attached to this character, even more so since I discovered that connection. It’s comforting to have a character to connect my pain towards to, even if the design wasn’t intentional to allude to anything. What matters is that I can feel relief of some kind, even after so long of having this pain never acknowledge or even denied outright.
