Jamaica's Natasha Thomas scored on her debut for Wrexham AFC Women in the Welsh club's first-ever Champions League game. The 30-year-old Reggae Girlz forward scored her club's fourth goal in a 4-2 win over Armenian champions FC Pyunik, helping Wrexham progress to the first-round qualifying final.
Reggae Girl Sade Adamolekun has joined Logroño United in Spain's Liga F. The 25-year-old midfielder signed for the club after spending three years with Hearts Women in Scotland, where she was part of the team that won the Scottish Women's Premier League for the first time in its history last season.
Bringing this back. I used to call Bunny Shaw and Khiara Keating our sword and our shield at Manchester City. Time passes, things change and people follow their chosen paths. Good luck to Khiara in her future endeavours and we're thankful for her service. We will miss her. Bunny, let's keep winning.
Reggae Girl Jade Bailey is on the move five months after joining Piteå IF in Sweden. Querétaro F.C. Femenil in Liga MX Femenil has announced that she has signed with the club. The 30-year-old defender has played for Sheffield United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal, among other clubs, in England.
If Trump got FIFA to suspend a red card, why can't a UK politician do it too? Member of Parliament Noah Law has brilliantly addressed FIFA: "At a time when our multilateral system and the international rules-based order is under threat, I urge you to treat this matter with the utmost seriousness."
Not many people know Kinkladze came back years later as Julian Alvarez.
Reggae Girl Sade Adamolekun has announced her departure from Hearts Women. She made her professional debut there in the summer of 2023 after graduating from the University of Southern California. Her three years at Hearts culminated in a historic Scottish Women's Premier League title this summer.
That USWNT vs. Brazil "friendly" this week reinforced my conviction that CONCACAF and CONMEBOL should just merge and become one confederation. From Canada down to Argentina we are one passionate, crazy America, my brothers and sisters. It will be fun. 😅 "Gambino, mi hermano, esto sí es América"
"Anyone who does not know how to pass the ball, even if they have talent, has not yet understood the game. Anyone who does not know how to live with and for others has not yet understood life."
Congrats to Jamaica's Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw who became an FA Cup winner today, scoring the opening goal and providing an assist in Manchester City Women's 4-0 victory over Brighton in the final.
The Reggae Girlz squad for upcoming friendlies against Panama on June 5 and 8 has been announced. Key players missing are Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw and Kiki Van Zanten. Not seeing Sade Adamolekun who just won the Scottish Women's Premier League with Hearts. Peyton McNamara returns after a long absence.
Speaking of players who blossomed everywhere except at Man United (I’m just sayin’), Geyse won the Concacaf Champions Cup with Club América after winning the inaugural edition the year before with Gotham FC, making the Brazilian the only player to have won it twice. Her trophy list is eye-popping.
Congratulations to Jamaican midfielder Olufolasade 'Sade' Adamolekun on winning the Scottish Women's Premier League with Hearts Women. It's the first time in the club's history that they are champions of Scotland. A truly historic achievement.
Kiki Van Zanten's Houston Dash team will face younger sister Mimi's San Diego Wave today, so Kiki posted this with the caption "playing against this today." 😂. Sibling rivalry goes hard 😂
Congratulations to Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw on winning the WSL Golden Boot for a third consecutive year. She is the first player to win it three times. She is also the first player to score 20 or more goals in three different WSL seasons.
If 'We Out Here Scoring Absolute Golazos But Don't Celebrate Yet' was a person.
The Reggae Girlz will face Panama in two international friendlies on June 5 and June 8 at the Estadio Rommel Fernández Gutiérrez in Panama City.
Just came across this from Girlactico on Instagram. Beautiful. I didn't know that Alex Greenwood and Bunny Shaw have always sat together in the dressing room. There's also a video from BBCFootball on Instagram of Alex talking about this, their friendship, and how she hopes that Bunny remains at City
If Florentino Pérez is representative of some of the men in positions of power in Spanish football, it is easy to understand why Spain’s women’s programme faced the problems with misogyny that it did in recent years.
Bunny Shaw standing on the pitch at Stamford Bridge after destroying Chelsea with an equaliser and winning goal in a come-from-behind 3-2 FA Cup semifinal win. She just won the league with City and copped two Player of the Year awards in one week. Chelsea rumours are swirling. What is she thinking?
Following on from Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw's achievement with Manchester City Women, another Jamaican has become a league champion. 28-year-old Konya Plummer has won the Turkish Women's Super League with Fenerbahçe.
Another one. Congrats to Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw on winnng Player of the Year at the Women’s Football Awards 2026.
Reggae Girlz Kayla McKenna and Paige Bailey-Gayle have been voted into Switzerland’s SAFP Golden 11 for the 2025/26 season. The SAFP Golden 11 is the official team of the season, selected by professional players that vote for their fellow footballers who have stood out in the league.
22-year-old Jamaican forward Davia Richards helped her team avoid relegation from the Serbian Women's Super League with a game to spare, scoring the opening goal for ZFK Mašinac in their crucial 2-1 win over ZFK Partisan Sloga.
Reggae Girlz and Crystal Palace defender Allyson Swaby celebrating Palace's promotion to the WSL 1.
