what artblock does to a mf

derpy looking black and white digital drawing of one of my ocs admiring his reflection and looking pleased with himself cropped tightly to show the face and top of the hand. The proportions are very strange and there is evidence of many, many redraw attempts. The character has medium length hair that's slicked back away from his face that's been shaded a dark grey and looks chunky in places, further evidence of the artist fighting for his life

he same drawing attempted again like 2 days later. The hand actually looks like a hand and the eyes have a soul. There is still evidence of struggle especially around the nose and back of the neck but the character actually looks like a human and most of the elements feel balanced and intentional.

committing to the crop scariest part #wip millicent eldenring again

Illustration of a pikaia. It is a Burgess shale fossil cephalochordate which looked like a 5-10cms eel. The presence of myomeres and a chordate means that it is sometimes considered a precursor of the vertebrates. Nevertheless, its character as ancestor of the vertebrates is not universally recognised, due to the presence of small tentacles, which are unusual. The amphioxus, which lives now, resembles a pikaia.

In this instance its tentacles are positioned like insect legs and it has the face of a slug with a long fern like structure along its spine and a pink blob inside the end of its tail fin that is badly clipping. work in progress digital painting in a mostly unblended style depicting my character Alessia in a recognizable finger maiden outfit from video game Elden Ring. There are two Alessias standing side by side. She wears a floor length pink velvet dress that is covered in mud at the bottom highlighting its ceremonial impracticality but also the character's willingness to get dirty. A few alterations are made from the classic outfit such as white astrologer gloves and no fillet (hat). She is unarmed in both images. In the left image she is wearing a commoners headband and cloth and a travelers cape. In the right image you can see her uncovered hair and face. She has medium toned brown skin with curly brown-black hair in a bun with side parted face framing bangs and gold eyes that are really hard to see from this distance.

work in progress digital painting in a mostly unblended style depicting my character Alessia in an altered astrologer outfit from video game Elden Ring. There are two Alessias standing side by side. She wears a tea length burgundy velvet dress with gold accents that is somewhat faded at the bottom showing that it is far from new. She wears a dark blue glintstone necklace on a gold chain around the V neck of the dress/robe and a black button up undershirt that bears strong resemblance to a neckband clerical shirt and the matching nox gloves and boots ornamented in tarnished gold. The belt is tied much higher and tighter than the ingame version, and is a pink striped fabric matching the nox set. In the left image she is wearing a nightmaiden twinned crown completely obscuring her gaze and slightly dehumanizing her. She is also shown with an urumi whip sword in her right hand and a glintblade staff in her left. In the right image you can see her uncovered hair and face and she is once again unarmed. She has medium toned brown skin with curly brown-black hair in a bun with side parted face framing bangs and the once gold eyes are now graceless, tainted by the night to a deep indigo.

Front and back pose taken from a character sheet for a project I'm working on. The character is a light blue magical girl with blonde hair in long miku twintails. She is fair skinned and has bright blue eyes that aren't her natural colour and is wearing a halter top corset and fluffy skirt that is inspired by the german dirndl dress with long white gloves and thigh high boots. The bows in her hair are shaped like butterflies, and she has a large white bow at the back of the dress. The character is drawn in a simplified style for the full body, designed for ease of animation.

saturated digital painting that depicts a nighttime camp scene on the island of solstheim from the elder scrolls games. The focal point is a lit campfire spreading light on two orange canvas tents, a spruce? tree and a small wooden chair in dunmeri style. In the background the lower part of the scene is completely blacked out by the ambient campfire light but gets brighter as you go up to reveal the stars and the red mountain can be seen still billowing smoke. In this version the lighting is "realistic" and therefore really dark. The two lanterns in the leftmost tent are much dimmer than the fire and the other tent on the right is almost completely shrouded. It gives the painting a dark and moody vibe.
