Finally! I have been asking for over a week WHO are the "police" that are letting DOGE in and keeping everyone else out of federal buildings in DC. DHS. They appear to be "Federal Protective Service". Someone in Congress needs to start asking questions.
The library in the burb I grew up in. Limited entry points, full of books. As long as you bring provisions it would be the ideal place to ride out the apocalypse.
