Well, I fell off the various writer prompts/world building things I was doing this month, mainly because I got distracted by the release of the game book at my Patreon. Sorry for those that were interested, but a lot of that is in my content at FVS anyway. Here's a meme.
It's true, there's plenty of intentional and sensual spice to be found in the 13th Floor collection. Our protagonist shows us what s3x work can be like when it's a vocation.
This is a snippet from Purity's Penance, the second Pam Purity book. It's her getting her personal "uniform" back after some time without it.
We've got the totally awesome character sheet done for the solo adventure book that's almost ready for release. All the awesome execution and art credit goes to @penofgwen.bsky.social. Now I just have to finish up a few more pages of text before the editing passes and layout work. Piece of cake >_>
It's been a minute since I shared the cover of Purity of Purpose, by @penofgwen.bsky.social. When she showed me the concept for this, I had questions, but as I watched it unfold, they evaporated. I love the elements she's included here as nods to the character. Find this at FVs, link in bio.
There are a fair number of intense scenes in the Pam Purity books, but I think this one might involve some of the most tension.
So, mainly I've been working on game dev content, with only a little bit of fiction writing thrown in around the edges. Currently trying to get the Platinum and Plasma core rule book polished and ready for release. Here's a snippet from it, including the word "out."
New membership benefit for Read Anytime members at Furious Virtue Serials. Read Anytime members can now access Pam's Playground Discord channel to chat with the creator and other fans directly! Also, I don't post many pics of myself, but here's one.
Platinum and Plasma has 4 Eras of play available, or will soon when it's released at Furious Virtue Serials (link in bio). In the meantime, enjoy fiction from the Pamverse as a member, or by buying access to specific collections. Art credit @penofgwen.bsky.social
Art credit to @penofgwen.bsky.social. I like to think of this one as the sort of facing the Alindriska House would put on their warships, just to be a little extra before the missiles and plasma bolts start flying.
New piece in the 18+ View From the 13th Floor collection, over at Furious Virtue Serials. Members may access this piece free Explore the erotic fascination with texture and touch, and our protagonist's careful tending of those desires with attention, and intention. www.patreon.com/FuriousVirtu...
Oops, I slipped and this preview of the cover of the solo adventure book for the Medic Profession fell out of my pocket. I plan to do one of these for each Profession, each looking at a different part of the game and featuring greater or lesser complexity. The Medic would be "normal" difficulty.
It is what's on the tin. Reply "Purity Pink" and get 1 free month of access, no ongoing subscription costs involved. This is not a free trial that'll keep charging you if you forget to cancel, I promise.
I just realized I don't post enough pictures of my goodest girl Ventrue on here. Yes, she's named after the VtM clan, and lives up to her noblesse oblige. Do you have pets? I like to see other pets, too. Can I see your pets?
This is from Purity of Purpose, Chapter 3. It's a glimpse into the mind and personality of the MC, Pam Purity, as well as what goes into being a Duelist in her 'verse. Purity of Purpose is available to all members of FVS (link in bio), or in the shop if subscription models (reasonably) offend you.
Obligatory pitch post. This is the cover to the upcoming ttrpg Platinum and Plasma, art credit to @penofgwen.bsky.social, which will be available Soon(TM) at FVS. Does a new, versatile sci-fi ttrpg interest you? Would a Patron option to play in a game run my its creator be interesting? Lmk below.
Today I've been working on the solo adventure book I'm putting out, Soon(tm). I'd be lying if I said there wasn't a certain amount of satisfaction involved in writing this page, after losing several pages to a failure to save.
Jack of All Trades Whether from a lack of focus, or a broad set of experiences, some people never settle into a single profession. These people tend to drift, picking up whatever work they can. They tend to have a talent for skills, but never stick with anything long enough to develop mastery. 5/6
As important as the machinery of settled space is, the intelligence that drives it is just as critical. Tech Specialists craft the logic frameworks and machine learning algorithms that automate so many of the galaxy’s tasks. They build and maintain the drones that support human endeavor. 4/?
Medic Medical professionals are in high demand across every Era. Whether as field medics far from settled space, or masters of pharmaceutical cocktails in a lab, medics have what everyone needs. Cool under pressure, with a sharp mind, medics can make the difference between life and death. 3/?
Mechanic. The galaxy is an inhospitable place, and machinery breaks down. A Mechanic is an essential part of any crew. At home in the grease and coolant of ship maintenance tunnels Mechanics are the unseen heroes of many situations. Able to jury rig systems Mechanics are masters of the machine. 2/?
Got a great review of Purity of Purpose on Patreon today. If this sounds like your kind of book, check out the link in my bio. You can find it in the shop for a one-time fee, or you can become a paid member and access all of my content.
Last one for today. The Pilot. Pilots are essential across settled space, whether it's guiding huge transports or dogfighting pirates in orbital fighters. Certification as a Pilot is a ticket to work on any world or system. No one is cooler under pressure than the Pilot making them clutch allies.
The Soldier. No matter what Era of play you're in, the Soldier is always a valuable ally. They comprise the majority of House navies and armies, planetary and system Security Forces, pirate fleets, mercenary companies, and private security. Soldiers are known to shrug off serious damage. 6/?
The Gambler. Gamblers are experts at living on the wrong side of the law. Whether it's in cards, dice, or contraband acquisition and smuggling, the Gambler has the edge. It's dangerous to assume one knows what's up a Gambler's sleeve. They shine when it's most shadowy. 5/?
Next up, the Diplomat. Diplomats often end up as House functionaries, but just as regularly filter into suitable roles such as investigators, marketers, or matchmakers. They shine in negotiations, especially if they've had enough time to gather intel on their opponents ahead of time. 4/?
