I have finally played and defeated Shadow of the Colossus, the PS4 version specifically. What stood out to me most was how empty the open world was compared to modern games. As a result, it feels so much larger and you're really given the chance to take in the awe-inspiring view!

I'm very much not a visual artist these days, I prefer to figure out design problems in games. But back about 6-7 years ago, I drew quite a lot! And of course, before that, there was the epic saga of stick-figure spaceship battles... an even bigger crossover than Endgame, lemme tell you that.

Because I found them again and they made me chuckle, here are the original concepts drawn up for the enemy ships in Taco Tides! I've typed up the flavour text again so that it's legible. Of the six ships depicted, four made it into the original jam version of the game.

Finished #astrobot tonight, just got a couple trophies and the Speedway DLC left. My mind was blown at every turn with this game. 1/8

Started #astrobot today. I was expecting it to recreate the joy I felt playing Astro's Playroom, and it has exceeded all expectations so far! If you're a #gamedev and looking to study game feel, Astro Bot is an absolute-must case-study! There's also a playboy bunny bot in Snake's magazine 👀
