i reached 2k subs within my first couple months of youtube all the way back in 2019, and it's no secret that after that i lost a lot of that momentum until i picked things up again for real earlier this year. let's see if we can crack 3k soon. 5k would be a great goal for 2026 🙌

does the sheen on leon's hair or jacket make it look like plastic? i'm not saying they look the same but think about how silly and vague that sounds 😂 am i crazy for seeing some highlights on hair or a leather vest and not seeing the plastic resemblance?
1 thing i learned during my studies is that it’s more scrupulous to argue from 1st principles. leaning on vague comparisons is a sign of argumentative weakness it’s not hard to find other nintendo games that use specular highlights or shading in a similar way & they don’t get this kinda reaction 😂
i replayed it on original hardware recently and while it’s a fine-enough looking game, saying it resembles nakano’s artwork is IMO kind of a stretch. if i got super nitpicky i could critique the mismatch between flat-shaded polygons and real textures (the latter with often inconsistent resolutions)
