Yesterday, France commemorated its version of VE day. I’m in Lower #Normandy and there are many war cemeteries and memorials. This is a new one marking the place where 752 US soldiers were temporarily buried 1944-48, before being moved to a proper cemetery. #war #ww2 #veterans #france #normandie
