Derrick (9U) finished with a .545 batting average, was 3rd on the team with 23 RBI and 3rd on the team with 19 stolen bases. He played solid defense as well at 1B, 2B and OF.
Evan (11U) finished with 35 innings pitched (up from 20 last season), 41 strikeouts and a 4.28 ERA and is established as the ace on his team. He batted .250 and stole 20 bases without getting caught. He also played solid defense at P, 2B and OF.
Both boys brought home the Silver Championship this weekend. One for 9U and one for 11U. Go Blues!
